UTS has partnered with Melbourne College of Advanced Studies (MCAS) to accept graduates from their Bachelor Qualifying Program (BQP) into selected UTS Bachelor programs.
Students who successfully complete the required subjects in the BQP (Fast track) Engineering, IT/Science and Business streams, and who also meet the English language requirements, will receive 24 credit points towards their UTS Bachelor degree.
BQP graduates will be accepted* into the following UTS programs:
UTS Business School
Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
Faculty of Science
* Requires successful completion of the BQP including English
**Only 6cp of credit recognition for the following sub-majors:
- Consumer Analytics Extension sub-major
- Financial Mathematics Extension sub-major
- Operations Analysis Extension sub-major
- Risk Management Extension sub-major
Entry into the BQP program requires completion of the Gaokao and Gaosan or other equivalent high school programs at international schools.
MCAS students will study the BQP program through partner universities in China, including:
Southwest Uni, Chongqing
Northeast University, Qinhuangdao
MinNan Normal University, Zhangzhou, and
Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
After successful completion of the program students will be able to study the recognised programs at UTS, and at other qualifying universities.
The BQP will also include an English program consisting of ten hours per week over 15 weeks (150 hours).
